A Safer Whitehall Strategic Plan

2020 Safer Whitehall LogoFrom 2017-2020, the Division of Police implemented it's first three-year Safer Whitehall Strategic Plan and is in the process of adopting the 2021-2023 Strategic Plan. The 2017-2020 Strategic Plan specifically set forth the new "A Safer Whitehall Initiative," through which the community saw violent crime drop by 27%, robberies decrease by 38% and burglaries plummet by 46% over the three year plan period.

The philosophy behind the strategic plan is to define the schemes and techniques to achieve the Division of Police's core mission and values. The plan defines a Mission Statement, Culture Statement, Core Values as well as Strategic Goals for the three-year plan period. Each Strategic Goal is further bolstered by Strategic Objectives with specific Action Items to help see those objectives through. A Safer Whitehall Town Halls

As part of the Division of Police's Strategic Plan implementation, the Chief of Police holds periodic Town Halls to report on the plan progress and to dialogue with the Whitehall residents and businesses about safety in our community.
