Welcome to the 2024 Opportunity Guide

Welcome to the 2024 City of Whitehall Opportunity Guide! Whether you have been here for years, or are new to the community, I hope that you find this guide to be a helpful resource as you make the most of the opportunities Whitehall has to offer.  

The Opportunity Guide is packed with useful community information, from City services, to elected official contacts, to upcoming event specifics. You will find this guide to be a Resource Directory for a wide range of non-profit and faith-based services within our community. Some examples include healthcare and wellness, career development, family services, substance abuse and mental health — I encourage you to find the resources you need to thrive in our great city. The directory starts on page 26. 

New this year, I encourage you to check out the “Don’t Miss Opportunities” listed on page 6. This section details unique programs you can find in Whitehall this year including  Walk with A Doc, the Senior Dining Center, car seat safety fittings, the food waste drop off program, and more.  

Finally, do not forget to mark your calendars for all the wonderful community events coming to Whitehall in 2024. We, at City Hall, are looking forward to seeing you at our Juneteenth Celebration, Market on the Green, the Summer Concert Series, Fourth of July, the Whitehall Food Truck & Fun Fest and National Night Out starting on page 20.
