Ticket Payment

Thank you for remitting payment to the City of Whitehall for your recent violation. If your violation does not require a personal court appearance, and you do not want to contest your violation in court, you are required to pay the fine by the court date noted at the bottom of your pink citation. To pay your ticket, you have the option of paying online, in person, by mail or via a drop box located at City Hall (see instructions below).

  • Proof of Insurance: If your violation is traffic related, and you did not show proof of insurance to the officer at the time of the traffic stop, you are required to show your insurance card at the time of payment or at a later date to the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles. The insurance card must reflect that the vehicle was insured on the date and time of the incident.
  • Failure to Pay : The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles will be notified of any unpaid traffic tickets and your license will be forfeited and remain forfeited until the ticket plus a penalty of $20 is paid in cash or money order at the Clerk of Court’s office and an additional fee to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles is paid.
