Electronic Filing for Whitehall Residents

The City of Whitehall is excited to offer electronic filing. We want residents to take advantage of our electronic filing program. It’s free, it’s fast, and it’s environmentally friendly!

Electronic Filing Requirements

Full year Whitehall residents may e-file their local 2023 income tax returns if they meet the following conditions:

  • They had W-2 only income and lived and worked within Whitehall corporate limits
  • If they had W-2 only income and worked outside of the City, they may file electronic, but they must send in a copy of their W-2(s)

Note: Some residents and individuals with Schedule C, E, F, or K-1’s may electronically file. They may also use the webtool to prepare their return. They must then print and mail their return to the City of Whitehall postmarked by April 15, 2024.

Whitehall residents and individuals who are required to file local income tax returns, but do not meet the above criteria may use our fill-in return option or our online tax preparation tool. All active accounts were mailed a letter with your account number and website information in late January. All they need to do is log onto this website and choose the electronic filing option found above, or navigate to the fill-in form, type in the necessary information, print, and mail it along with the appropriate attachments to the City of Whitehall Income Tax Division at:
