[ARCHIVED] Mayor's Court Warrant Forgiveness Day

Mayors Court Warrant Forgiveness Day

The Whitehall Police Department will be holding Warrant Forgiveness Day on Thursday, November 18th, 2021 from 8am to 8pm. Warrant forgiveness allows individuals to come into the Whitehall Police Department without fear of arrest and set a new court date on outstanding Whitehall Mayor’s Court warrants. During this time, any traffic or non-violent misdemeanor warrants issued through the City of Whitehall Mayor’s Court will be canceled. New court dates will be issued with no cash bond, provided you come to the Whitehall Police Department on the day and times listed above.

The Whitehall Police Department will be holding Warrant Forgiveness Day in an attempt to resolve your charges and warrants. This may prevent you from being arrested or spending time in jail over the holiday season. Please note: Warrant forgiveness is not an outright dismissal of your charges.

When you arrive at the Whitehall Police Department, come into the lobby and notify a clerk who will assist you with your warrant, new court date and any questions you may have. If possible, we ask that you come alone (no children, family members or friends) as we are continuing to enforce COVID-19 regulations. Please bring your identification with you, wear a mask, and practice social distancing.

If you think you may have a warrant or are uncertain what it is for, we encourage you to visit https://web1.civicacmi.com/Whitehall/Court/Default.aspx to verify your information. You may also call the Whitehall Police Department clerk’s office at (614) 237-6333 to confirm your eligibility.
