[ARCHIVED] Remembering Mayor Ochsendorf

Lynn Ann Ochsendorf, former Mayor of Whitehall, passed away on November 2, 2021. Mayor Ochsendorf moved to Whitehall in 1963 and graduated from Whitehall-Yearling High School in 1972. She served as Mayor from 2004-2008. Prior to her term, she was Treasurer of Whitehall City Council from 1992-1993 and President of City Council from 1996-2003. An active member of the community, Ochsendorf founded and operated a specialty advertising agency in the City and was an active member of the Whitehall VFW Memorial Post 8794 and the Kiwanis Club. Mayor Ochsendorf will be remembered for her enduring commitment to public service and her love of the Whitehall community and neighbors.

Following a family graveside memorial service, visiting hours will be held at the Whitehall VFW Memorial Post 8794 at 4100 East Main Street at 1pm on Thursday, November 11. The family requests donations in her memory to Whitehall VFW Post 8794. You can view the full obituary here.
