[ARCHIVED] WPD Request Help From Public on Serial Robber Case

PRESS RELEASE 2021-014 Photo

Whitehall Police are seeking assistance identifying a serial robbery suspect who has committed at least three (3) robberies in Whitehall and believed to have committed multiple others around the county.  The Whitehall robberies occurred at Dairy Queen 549 South Yearling Road on 8/12/21, CVS 4548 East Main Street on 9/24/21, and Family Dollar 5224 East Main Street on 9/27/21.  In each case, he either brought items to the cashier or approached the cashier to place an order.  Once at the counter, he implies he has a handgun or produces a knife.  He then jumps the counter and takes money out of the register before fleeing on foot.

The suspect has been described as a male Hispanic or light skin mixed race, 5’-8” to 5’-10” tall, with a thin build.  In at least two robberies he has worn a black sweatshirt with yellow lettering that reads “Grove City Wrestling” with the number “25” on one of the sleeves.

“We are hoping that someone will recognize this individual from these photos and help us identify him before someone gets hurt,” stated Detective John Dickey, “He has worn a distinct sweatshirt that is not associated with Grove City Ohio.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Whitehall Police Department.  Below are surveillance photos.  Video is available upon request.
