The City is seeking to improve active transportation in the community. Active transportation is a means of getting around that is powered by human energy, primarily walking and bicycling. Active transportation can be improved by creating multi-use paths, dedicated bike lanes and by creating connections between existing trails.
One area of focus is creating a multi-use trail to connect Whitehall Community Park to the Big Walnut Trail and surrounding communities. This connection would allow community members to access the park directly by using the trails without having to drive. The multi-use path will create a separate route for pedestrians and bikers.
We want your feedback to ensure that any future trail connections help you get safely from one location to another using active transportation in the Whitehall community and beyond. The survey will run from June 14 to June 25. This survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. All responses will be kept anonymous. We appreciate your time!
