On 3/10/21 around 2353 hours, Whitehall Police Officers responded to the area of 1031 Bucknell Rd. for a report of shooting. Officers located a 24-year-old male victim at the location. The victim was transported to Mt. Carmel East in critical condition. Whitehall officers arrested a suspect in the shooting, Kesjon Green, age 24. Green was found at the location of the shooting.
Deputy Chief Dan Kelso stated, “Whitehall officers and detectives did a great job on this incident. They responded to the scene quickly and were able to recover a gun and make an arrest out of this incident.”
An investigation continues into why the shooting took place but it is believed Green and the victim knew each other prior to the incident. Green was charged with Attempted Murder.
