On 3/5/2020, at about 9:52pm, Whitehall Police and Fire units were dispatched to the Holiday Motel, 4420 E Main St. in Whitehall, OH, on a report of a fire. Arriving unites observed that one room of the motel was engulfed in flames. A 33-year-old female was located in that room and taken to OSU Hospital for treatment. Her specific injuries are unknown at this time.
Five rooms in the motel were damaged by the fire, smoke, and water. Residents from these rooms have been relocated to other rooms or neighboring motels.
The State Fire Marshall has been called to the scene to investigate the cause and origin of the fire.
