[ARCHIVED] Narcotics Search Warrant Executed at 914 S. Weyant Ave. Columbus

The Whitehall Division of Police Narcotics Unit along with the Columbus Division of Police Intac Unit executed a search warrant on Thursday, May 23rd, 2019 at 914 S. Weyant Ave. Columbus, OH 43227 stemming from an investigation into trafficking in methamphetamine in and around the City of Whitehall.

Detectives seized 2350 grams(more than 5 pounds) of methamphetamine, 250 grams of marijuana, 3 loaded pistols, 90 Xanax pills, body armor and $15,375 cash. The targets of the investigation, Marcus Banta and Destany Lauderdale were not home when the search warrant was executed. Warrants for Trafficking in Drugs (F-1) will be issued. The recovered methamphetamine has a street value of more than $250,000.

The Whitehall Police Department Narcotics Unit continues its fight against drugs in and around the community. “The city will be safer with these drugs off the streets” stated, Deputy Chief Tracy Sharpless.
