On 8/15/18, at about 2:25 am, Whitehall Police responded to a report of a shooting at 4057 Beechcreek Rd. The female caller on 911 reported that her ex-boyfriend had broken into the home and after a fight, he was shot.
Taveon Fadis, age 29, of Columbus, was transported to Grant Medical Center with at least one gunshot wound to his left hip. Fadis remains at Grant Hospital being treated for these injuries. There were outstanding Aggravated Burglary and Domestic Violence warrants on file with Franklin County Municipal Court for Fadis from a previous incident at this location. New charges of Aggravated Burglary and Domestic Violence will be filed from this incident. Fadis is under guard at Grant Medical Center. This incident remains under investigation.
