[ARCHIVED] Marijuana Grow at 8131 Willow Brook Crossing Drive, Blacklick

The Whitehall Division of Police Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at 8131 Willow Brook Crossing Dr., Blacklick, OH 43004 on Wednesday, May 30th, 2018, stemming from an investigation into trafficking in drugs.


Detectives discovered a large indoor marijuana grow in the basement of the residence. Detectives seized approximately 150 mature plants and approximately 30 lbs. of marijuana prepared for sale. Detectives also seized $3000 in cash and 19 grams of psilocybin mushrooms. Also found were various packaging materials, sprayers, gallon bags, lamps, bulbs, fans and other equipment commonly utilized in marijuana growing operations. Spencer Yingling, age 32 was arrested at the residence and charged with for Possession of Marijuana (F-2).


The Whitehall Police Department Narcotics Unit continues its fight against drugs in and around the community of Whitehall. Deputy Chief Dan Kelso stated, “Whitehall Police will remain vigilant to stop illicit drug trafficking that is affecting our community.”
