[ARCHIVED] Whitehall Resident CERT Training Program

The program titled, Community Emergency Response Team, or C.E.R.T., is a program developed by FEMA to train residents to care for themselves, their families and neighbors for the first 72 to 96 hours after a disaster when first responders and services may not be readily available.

Participants will learn basic first aid, fire suppression, light search and rescue techniques, as well as information on topics such as terrorism and disaster psychology.

Classes will meet on Thursday evenings for 9 weeks starting Thursday, April 4, 2013, starting at 7:00 p.m. at the Yearling Road Fire House. Residents wishing more information or to register may contact, Kenny Robinson at 614-352-3234.
