[ARCHIVED] Whitehall Police Request Help in Identifying Man Who Robbed Wendy's

On 08/29/17 at 8:40PM, a male entered the Wendy’s Restaurant located at 3747 E. Broad St. and approached the counter. He implied he had a handgun and demanded money from the cashier. After grabbing the money, he fled the business on foot.

The suspect is described as a male black, nearly bald, scruffy facial hair, 30-40 years old, medium build, and approximately 6’-0”. He was wearing a white tank top, black basketball shorts and white tennis shoes (see surveillance photos below).

This man is also the suspect in the robbery of a Walgreens on 08/14/17, located a short distance from Wendy’s. If anyone recognizes this man, they are asked to call the Whitehall Police Department at (614) 237-6333.

“We believe that he is from this area and there are people that will recognize him. The public can help us take this dangerous man off the streets,” said Detective Lee McKittrick.
