The Whitehall Division of Police made a major bust Friday, Oct. 14th at a home on the east side of Whitehall.

More than $200,000 in cash was seized, along with 100 grams of heroin, firearms and drug manufacturing and packaging materials.

Two arrests were made, and charges, including drug trafficking, are pending.

“I want to commend our officers on a job well done,” said Whitehall Division of Police Chief Mike Crispen. “Our guys have been watching this situation for quite some time, and these arrests are a result of great teamwork within our Division.”

Officers said that the investigation into this situation began weeks ago.

The City of Whitehall recognizes the extent of the heroin epidemic in Ohio communities and is working vigorously to identify the heroin dealers and get them off the streets.

Since January, the Division has seized approximately $1.4 million in cash, 75% of which goes back to the Whitehall Division of Police to continue fighting drugs in the community.
