Main Street and Hamilton Road Intersection Study Stakeholder Meeting

Wednesday, January 22, 2020

The intersection of Main Street and Hamilton Road has been identified as one of the most dangerous in Ohio. Give your feedback as part of the planning study for intersection improvements at this stakeholder meeting.

The intersection of Main Street and Hamilton Road has been identified as one of the most dangerous in Ohio. As part of the Governor’s Top 150 safety project, a study is being initiated to examine current traffic patterns and safety issues and evaluate potential alternatives to reduce accidents and provide improved access.

As part of the project, the Ohio Department of Transportation and the City of Whitehall are developing planning, environmental analysis and preliminary engineering. To ensure the proposed project is a success, we are soliciting stakeholder input. As such, the community is invited to attend a Stakeholder Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, January 22, 2020 from 3-5 p.m. at the City Hall. The meeting is being conducted as an Open House with no formal agenda, so feel free to stop by any time.

If you cannot attend but would like to comment and remain informed and involved, please contact Rebecca Wagner at (740) 833-8183, rebecca.wagner@dot.ohio.gov. Note that the deadline for feedback has been extended.
